Masterwork's Troy crash 18 cymbal has a diameter of 18 inches and is made of B20 alloy and hammered by hand. This means each model has a slightly different sound. It has enough wash and projection with a trashy character and a relatively short sustain and decay. The response is on the low side which this cymbal suitable for harder styles of music. You could even use it as an alternative to a (half) open hi-hat.
